About the Property
Wilderness Collections Craters Edge offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in nature with luxurious comforts. Located on the north-eastern side of the Ngorongoro Crater, the lodge is nestled among acacia trees, providing stunning views directly into the caldera. Designed to harmonize with the African landscape, the lodge features rugged canvas exteriors, stone pathways, wooden teak flooring, and a neutral color palette. Guests can enjoy breathtaking sunsets, stargazing opportunities, and personalized adventures in the heart of the African wilderness.

The gourmet restaurant at Craters Edge showcases locally inspired dishes crafted from the finest seasonal ingredients, sourced from local markets and sustainable suppliers. Guests can also sample locally-inspired traditional Tanzanian dishes, as well as international cuisine, with an emphasis on seasonal ingredients and creative presentation. There are two dining areas at the lodge, one inside with a fire for colder nights and an outdoor dining area with an open-air fire for warmer nights under the stars. The bar and lounge area offers local specialty cocktails like the 'dawa,' a refreshing drink made with white spirits, honey or brown sugar, lime, and mint.
